Such a fun and clever story about using math, making friends, and teamwork!
-Melissa
The story takes us through Lucy’s avid curiosity, and the reader quickly gets pulled into the chase... This is a must-read!
-Ashley
Quirky, entertaining, humorous, and engaging! It was interesting to experience Lucy's character development as she uses her abilities to help the world, develops her friendship with Ada, and learns to cope with her anxieties.  I recommend this book for any child looking for a fun adventure!
-John
I appreciate the model this book gives of real teamwork challenges and the way perfectionism can, at times, be crippling for gifted children.

The book delivers an encouraging message that trying new things can be scary-and that feeling is completely okay. It is a good thing for both kids and adults to know!

-Cary Beth
What makes the book truly engaging is its use of practical strategies and each technique is woven into the text in a way that feels natural, inspiring students to stretch their imagination and challenge their assumptions.  Beyond individual growth, the book also emphasizes the importance of working together as a family unit. In today’s screen‑obsessed era, where digital distractions often isolate rather than connect, this book encourages families to engage collectively in thought‑provoking exercises.  If you are looking for a book that not only teaches but empowers you to think differently while bringing families closer together, this is a must‑read.

Swamp Thing Will Triumph

What a riveting account of a family’s journey through Cancer. This is a great example of how a family needs to bond together thru this journey. It is also a great example of recognizing that a person may have a disease but they are NOT the disease. They remain human.
-The Beebs
This book spoke to me like no other book has. I’ve read my fair shore of grief books, but this one actually helped me feel less lonely. Jennifer holds nothing back. Her emotions, and those of all who loved Rick, resonated so much with me. When someone goes through something like cancer, life for everyone involved is flipped upside down. Rick, Jennifer, their family, and friends got through it with as much grace and love as anyone could. Whether you have lost someone or not, I highly recommend this book.
-Elizabeth
A heartfelt memoir that chronicles a family's resilience and hope in the face of cancer, blending emotional depth with an inspiring narrative. The book offers a poignant look at their struggles and triumphs, making it a compelling read for anyone touched by the disease.
